No open roles today, but tell us anyway
We are not hiring for a specific position right now. We would still rather hear from somebody good early than advertise later and miss them.
What we would want to know
Not a covering letter. Send something you built and a paragraph on what was hard about it, or a thing about this product you would change and why.
- Something you have made that you are willing to be questioned about in detail.
- What you think we have got wrong. The site and the app are both live and both have rough edges.
- How you like to work, so we can be honest about whether it matches.
How we work
Small team, direct decisions, very little process. The upside is that the distance between noticing a problem and shipping the fix is short. The downside is that there is nobody to hand a half finished thing to, so people here have to be comfortable owning something end to end.
We write things down. Decisions are recorded with the reasoning that produced them, because the reasoning is the part that turns out to matter six months later when the situation changes.
